SMALL WATERSHED ACTION PLAN (SWAP)

FPVHG is working with the Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Resource Management (DEPRM) which is creating a SWAP for several watersheds in the County in partnership with interested local organizations. FPVHG is a leading partner for the Patapsco watershed. The County's vision for the SWAP is to have a healthy, vibrant Patapsco watershed which protects high quality streams and supports diverse aquatic life. The watershed conserves treasured and valuable natural resources including forests, parkland, and stream buffers and it supports a balance of healthy communities and thriving commercial and industrial enterprises. The watershed also protects historic features, treasured landscapes and residential character while accommodating adequate development for future generations.
